- Use this list to keep track of accomplishments and goals - reevaluate as necessary.
- Write progress blog entries at least every other month.
- For every goal un-finished, donate $3 to MSF.
Academic - Finish my thesis.
- Pass German 206.
- Graduate from Meredith.
- Take the GRE.
- Apply to graduate school(s).
- Plan for/look into going back to Athens for a semester or two.
- Finish my convocation attendance and forms.
- Make at least all B's in my last semester.
Photography - Learn manual photography.
- Learn how to use all the settings on my XSi.
- Enter a photograph in a juried show.
- Complete 365 at least once.
- Put together a portfolio of photography/design work.
- Set up a photography website.
- Print and hang some of my photos in my living space.
Sewing - Make a quilt.
- Use up at least 50% of my fabric stash before adding to it.
- Make more of my own clothes.
- Make two full lunch sets - lunch bag, silverware roll, napkin.
Knitting - Knit a sweater.
- Organize/reduce my yarn stash.
- Photograph the stash and file it on Ravelry.
- Donate handknits to at least one charitable collection a year.
- Help CFB with her knitting group idea.
- Complete at least one sewn/knit project a month.
- Knit another pair of socks.
- Make something with cables.
- Make a new set of Moo cards.
- Make an effort to actually sell something on Etsy.
- Work with clay again.
Writing - Fill a Moleskine each year.
- Participate in NaBloPoMo each November.
- Submit something to be published.
- Create a Blurb book.
- Write every day for a year.
Food - Create a cookbook of favorite recipes.
- Menu plan and eat seasonally.
- Shop locally and at the Farmer's Market.
- Eat what I have, when I have it - cut down on unnecessary groceries.
- Avoid eating at chain restaurants - support local/small establishments.
- Bake my own bread regularly.
- Make my own yogurt regularly.
- Use some of the recipes in my Cooky Book.
- Roast a whole chicken.
- Make something in the crock pot.
Spiritual - Keep Sundays as a day of rest.
- Read the Bible more regularly.
- Keep a prayer journal.
- Do more with the girls from church.
- Offer to babysit for church families.
- Be more positive/less negative.
Home - Have people over to the apartment more (practice hospitality, as CFB puts it).
- Clean out my collection of clothes and extra junk.
- Keep my desk organized - use it as a study/work space.
- Organize my external harddrive - photos in chronological order, pare down music & photo files, school stuff in one place.
For Me - Exercise more regularly - swim, walk, yoga, etc.
- Wear more skirts and dresses.
- Fill the boy-void.
- Go to at least three shows a year.
- Go to bed before midnight at least 5/7 days a week.
- Throw myself a graduation party.
- Go to the Cupcake Shoppe (or equivalent) once a month.
- Learn how to drive a manual car.
- Go to the drive-in at least once.
For Others - Support local/friend musicians.
- Leave a mix cd somewhere with a playlist.
- Donate to MSF regularly. (for Knitters w/out Borders.
- Bring my own shopping bags everywhere - not just the grocery store.
- Volunteer regularly.
- Send my teenage cousins random postcards.
Travel :: everything adventurous - Fill in my Athens City Notebook Moleskine.
- Fill in my Washington, DC City Notebook Moleskine.
- Visit Charleston.
- Visit Chicago.
- Visit NYC.
- Visit Nashville.
- Visit the NC mountains.
- Do something fun for last spring break of undergrad (March 2009).
- Leave the country at least once.
- Make a Blurb book of Greece photos.
- Start learning Greek.
- Use my dividend miles.
- Use lists of historic places in both Raleigh & NC in general to explore.
- Attend Obama's Inauguration (Washington DC trip).
Future - Save up for and/or purchase a wide angle lens.
- Start a savings account.
- Pay off credit cards.
- Research possible career options - keep a file of information.
- Build a work/professional wardrobe.
- Fix up my resume.
- Set up a loan repayment plan - out of debt by 30.
- Create a list of references for jobs/grad school.
