So, just when everything was working out fine and it seemed like this trip actually might get off to a slightly normal start, I get an email saying that my check went out regular mail instead of express mail so I won't get the thing until next week, which leaves me no time to have it mailed back to my bank in Raleigh by the time I leave.  Seriously, its really not that difficult, and yet somehow, it always ends up being this way.

So, now I'm leaving in a week and have no money.  Yay!
