ginger!

On a whim yesterday, Lindsey and I decided to dye our hair. Traffic made us too late for the movie we had originally intended to see, so we stopped at Target instead. An hour later I was a red head.

Then today, not really needing to leave the house for anything, and in the mood to experiment, I decided to see what steam rollers would do to my latest hair cut.

So here I am, playing ginger for a few weeks, and loving the fact that I can pull off curls so well now.  Also loving my wonky new cowl, which is the first in a trio of accessories I'm knitting for next week's DC trip.  We leave a week from tomorrow and not only do I have a first week of school to get through, but I have a lot of trip preparations to complete.  It was 60 degrees today so it doesn't even feel like January, let alone a week away from the Inauguration.
