these days

I'm officially finished with my first week of classes.  It is over and I am exhausted.
My Fridays will be spent in work: at the office, in the library, and then babysitting.

Walk, Jog, and Run is already kicking my butt, so I'm hoping that by the end of the semester I'll actually be in decent shape.  I'll be doing Accountability Wednesdays on flickr, documenting my progress, and keeping myself on track.

College Algebra just makes me feel old.  I'm in the same math class as a girl I used to babysit.  And I realized yesterday that I haven't done this kind of math since junior year of high-school, which was six years ago.  Crazy.

Photography is going to be really interesting, but I almost feel like I'm working backwards.  I know so much already but have big holes in my technical knowledge base, so parts of class are really helpful and the other parts feel too simplistic.  Hopefully that will change once we actually start shooting and working in the dark room.

German is going to be an adventure - our little class of three.  We met at the Royal Bean today, talking music and opera.

So this is it, a new year, new routine, new normal.
