slightly problematic

The power cord to my laptop snapped in two today, the little electric wires that keep things working all frayed and broken.

And now I'm dreaming more than ever of a lovely little Mac with MagSafe power connectors and a battery life greater than my IBM's measly 43 minute endurance.

Tim has made generous deals on Macs as of late. Shall I ask him if he has one for you?

Hhmmm... never been a fan of Mac or any Apple products for that matter. I suggest that you try out or research other brands that are as good as Apple, just cheaper. Or if you have enough money for a Mac, then go ahead and get one.
