Sew, Mama, Sew is organizing the super awesome May Giveaway Day, so in the spirit of my hellasgood reminisces I decided to play along and spread some Greek love to one lucky winner.
One of the best parts of spending summers in Athens were our early morning trips to the local bakery for a loaf of fresh bread (psomi).
For the giveaway, I've whipped up a hand embroidered bread bag and am including my favorite recipe for psomi and a tiny packet of meli (Greek honey) so you can enjoy your own Greek snack. To round out the giveaway goodies, head on over to my etsy shop and let me know which print you'd like.

my ideal vacation destination would be greece oddly enough. i grew up eating homemade yogurt with honey and all sorts of greek food (my lil old neighbor who would babysit me was greek and was convinced that my mother never feed me enough). i got a taste for the country and culture from that and would kill for the chance to finally experience it for myself :)

My dream vacation would have to be India but no one else seems to be interested in joining me. My husband loves Greece so maybe we'll have to go there. I love the Fira Town print--the light is perfect.

my vacation destination is spain. i've been once and would love to go again to see some new areas. i love the fira town print - i guess i could deal with a vacation there, too.
My dream getaway is Cinque Terre, Italy. My husband and I haven't gotten to travel together yet so I'm definitely hoping to get there soon together! It is so romantic. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
Right now my dream vacation is a simple one--to northern California to see the guy I love. If we're shooting for the moon, though, I'd love to see Italy--any part of it, just on a slower pace. I went once before but it was a whirlwind trip with a lot of classmates, and I'd prefer to go on my own pace. I speak the language pretty well now, and everything. I might even take my man. ;)

As for my dream vacation getaway... definitely Scotland. I've been before, but fell in love with the country and maybe a person as well, so I really hope I can go back sometime. True love conquers all, maybe? :)

I would chose the mermaid doors! I love the color of the doors and it is so fun to stumble upon something like that!
Ooh, the prints are all lovely. I like the Blue Door, but the Mermaid Door is probably my favorite.
I am a wicked geek, so I would love to go on a vacation where there's lots of new things to experience. I love the idea of going out west and visiting all the "Mine your own..." places, where you can spend an afternoon mining gold or tourmaline or fossils. I would also like to go back to Scotland and visit Loch Ness and Inverness again. Such beautiful country.
